2008 String Camp (Preludio Strings Orchestra rehearsing)

At the Residential Summer String Camp you will join one of three large orchestras and work with a small chamber ensemble to bring a piece to performance standard. You may build your existing skills in masterclasses, learn new styles of music in elective sessions, or join in activities including indoor ball games, rock wall climbing, a high ropes course, giant swing, flying fox, swimming and beach walks.

String players of all ages and all levels are welcome. Some campers have a few months' experience. Others have decades. Everyone leaves playing better than when they entered.
The camp ends with a concert on the afternoon of Saturday, January 29th, featuring three orchestras and over 100 musicians.
