The turn-off to the camp is clearly marked on the Bass Highway between Turner's Beach and Ulverstone.

Taking the Bus

The Sunday start means that you can travel on the regular Tasmanian Redline bus, to arrive at Turner's Beach by 3:15pm. For adults, this will be slightly more expensive than the bus the RSSC chartered in previous years (at most $68.30 from Hobart), but subsidies make it dramatically cheaper for children ($1.80) and students ($13.10).

You can book at www.tasredline.com.au. Bookings for January will open in September. When you book, make sure that:

  • Your destination is "TURNERS BEACH (TUR)"
  • You depart on 22nd January
  • Your arrival time is 1515 (3:15pm)
  • You use a fare type you are eligible for

Please notify Virginia if you will be arriving on the bus. RSSC staff will meet the bus at Turner's Beach and supervise children until registration opens.

Unfortunately, there is no bus leaving at the end of the camp, so you must make your own arrangements for travelling home.

During the Camp
